There are so many different materials to thread beads onto. Here our supplies are presented by spool.
Choose from:
Fireline® – a pre-waxed, braided cord consisting of gel-spun polyethylene which is known as the strongest fiber, per diameter, ever created. It has an unbelievably high tensile strength and has been recommended in numerous how-to articles on bead working. The 6 lb. tests will fit a #12 beading needle.
Acculon Tigertail – a nylon covered wire. It is good for beads with sharp edges that might cut thread. ‘Clear’ colour available in 6 diameters: .012, .015, .018 and .024 on 30, 100 and 1000 foot spools. The 49 strand offers the most flexibility.
Illusion Cord – 010 diameter, nylon, monofilament cord, with unbelievable strength. Soft, yet durable, the Illusion Cord monofilament is nearly invisible. Excellent for Tin Cup & Illusion Look Necklaces. Sold on 50m spools.”
Soft Flex® Wire – constructed of 49 micro woven stainless steel wires. Soft Flex Wire is supple enough that it can be knotted. Soft Flex® Wire is available here in 0.19 diameter and in ‘Satin Silver’ colour. This is one of the most supple coated wires of it’s type.
